The EZ Evo Tech Pro is a wireless pen-style tattoo machine with a 3.5 mm stroke, equipped with independent voltage and PWM operating speed control. It allows you to change the machine's performance characteristics without needing to adjust the voltage simultaneously, making it easier to fine-tune settings for linework, shading, black & grey, and color packing.

A brushless external rotor motor ensures stable operation with low noise and vibration. The Evo Tech Pro also offers Bluetooth for use with the EZ wireless footswitch and includes two interchangeable grips of different diameters.

PWM Speed Control C01–C10

One of the most important features of the EZ Evo Tech Pro is PWM speed control. The machine offers levels from C01 to C10, which allow you to change the operating frequency while maintaining the same voltage.

If you have already managed to read our tattoo artist's guide, where we advise on how to take your first steps in this profession, it's time to get down to specifics and start assembling the necessary tools for tattooing. This time, we won't be focusing on elements strictly for learning to tattoo, but rather on what you really need to realize your first project on a live model. Let's get started. Accessories for transferring the design Precisely transferring the design onto the client's skin is the foundation of a successful tattoo. You'll need appropriate accessories and equipment, from tracing paper and hectographic ink to a printer. All of these are, of course, available in Ars Tattoo's permanent offer. Tattoo machine – time to choose it consciously Beginner tattoo artists often experiment with different types of machines, which is highly recommended. During the learning phase, it's worth testing both classic coil machines and more advanced rotary machines. If you've already done that and know which machine works best for you, then buy a model tailored to your expectations, one that will guarantee an accurate reproduction of the design on the model's skin. Hygiene, care, protection Tattooing is not just the – let's call it – artistic and technical part, but also the entire setup that determines the comfort and safety of the client. You need to stock up on a range of products to maintain hygiene at the workstation, as well as to protect the fresh tattoo and care for it during the initial, critical stage. Coil vs. Rotary Tattoo Machines – The Ultimate Comparison

Choosing the right tattoo machine is one of the most important decisions a tattoo artist has to make – regardless of whether they are just starting out or planning to switch to new equipment after their current machine wears out. If you are facing such a choice, you are probably considering buying either a coil or a rotary machine. These are two basic types of machines, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Do not base your choice solely on price; also consider working comfort, functionality, and preferred tattooing style. To start, check out our article where we compare coil and rotary tattoo machines in detail. Coil tattoo machines Let's give them priority, as coil machines are classics among tattooing equipment. Despite their somewhat outdated design, they are still quite popular, especially among tattoo artists who learned to work with coil machines and see no need to switch to a rotary machine. Coil tattoo machines operate based on electromagnets that set the needle in motion. During operation, they produce a characteristic sound and generate distinctly noticeable vibrations, which for many tattoo artists are an inseparable part of the tattooing process. The advantages of coil tattoo machines mainly include: Relatively low price – basic models of coil machines can be purchased for around PLN 200, an example of which is the Leaf brand machine available at Ars Tattoo. Freedom to make modifications – there is no problem with replacing coils or other components of the machine's construction, thanks to which one device can serve a tattoo artist for years (high availability of spare parts). Very suitable for working with standard tattoo needles. Disadvantages? There are also plenty of those, just to name a few: Very loud operation and distinct vibrations, which diminishes the comfort of the tattoo artist and the client. The need to set and frequently change settings and adjust the machine, which can be challenging for beginner tattoo artists. Coil machines are not compatible with convenient cartridges. Considerable weight, less ergonomic shape. It is certainly a good machine for a beginner tattoo artist who can learn the basics of technique (especially classic, using standard needles) and develop their own style on it. Transitioning from a coil machine to a rotary machine is much easier than the other way around. And let's not forget about the very attractive price. Rotary Tattoo Machines Rotary tattoo machines represent a significant technological leap compared to coil machines. These are simply much more modern devices that use an electric motor instead of coils. They are very easy to use and versatile – they can be used at every stage of the tattooing process (lining, shading, filling). It's worth noting that rotary machines are a very broad group of devices, which also includes the popular pen-type machines (with an exceptionally ergonomic shape, super comfortable) and wireless machines (ideal for mobile tattoo artists and for working on designs in hard-to-reach body areas). The advantages of rotary machines simultaneously address the disadvantages of coil machines: They are much quieter and generate minimal vibrations, which translates into excellent working comfort. They are very easy to operate – they do not require time-consuming adjustments and configurations. They are versatile – one machine will serve you for lining, shading, and filling. They are compatible with both classic needles and cartridges. They are lighter and better balanced than coil machines (especially pen-type models). On the downside, rotary machines have: Higher price – here prices start at around PLN 580, such as for the Sirius Ultime Color Packer machine. Less ability to interfere with the machine's construction, which often means that in case of a malfunction, a new device must be purchased. Despite these drawbacks, it must be honestly admitted that rotary machines are in many ways a better choice than coil machines. It is no coincidence that they are now the foundation of every professional tattoo artist's equipment. However, it is not worth dismissing coil machines outright, as they can be a really good option for beginners and an excellent learning tool. A tattoo artist's class is primarily determined by their technical skills, creativity, and customer approach. However, this is not enough to execute a great project. Every tattoo artist needs the right tools for the job – and we're not just talking about the tattoo machine. Read our article and find out what professional tattoo artists use. Tattoo machine It’s not even appropriate to start with anything else. Professional tattoo artists predominantly use rotary machines, especially pen-type models, which are very comfortable, quiet, generate only minor vibrations, and fit perfectly in the hand. Many professionals also invest in wireless machines, which are a very good addition to a tattoo studio's equipment – they are particularly useful during off-site sessions and for projects in hard-to-reach places. Needles and cartridges The choice between classic tattoo needles and cartridges depends solely on the tattoo artist's preference. Old-school artists, working with coil machines, often prefer needles, while cartridges are undoubtedly much more convenient.
